Gweru is where the studio is and where most of this started. The MSU Research and Innovation Hub sits in the middle of a city that makes things — granite, steel, food, vehicle parts — and almost none of those businesses had any way to make an advert that looked like the products they were selling.
That gap is the whole reason Sukarav Ads Studio exists.
What Gweru businesses actually needed
A fabricator on the industrial side of town can produce a polished black granite slab that would sit comfortably in any kitchen in the world. Then the advertising for it is a phone photo taken in a dusty yard at midday, posted to a Facebook page with 200 followers.
The product was never the problem. The picture of the product was.
Traditional production quoted these businesses for production days they could not justify. A day’s crew hire against a job that might be worth a few hundred dollars in margin does not work, and no amount of enthusiasm changes the arithmetic. So the advert never got made.
What we do here
We work from a photograph. You send one clear shot — the slab, the counter, the vehicle, the product on a shelf — and we build the advert around it. Lighting, motion, voiceover, music, grade. Forty-eight hours later you have a file you can post or hand to a broadcaster.
Because a shoot is optional, there is nothing to schedule unless the brief needs it. No morning where you have to close the shop, tidy the yard, and wait for a crew that runs late.

- Yes. We are at the MSU Research and Innovation Hub on the Telone Campus in Gweru. In practice almost nobody visits, because the whole process works over WhatsApp and a visit does not make the ad any better or any faster. But the door is real and so is the address.
- Do you work with small Gweru businesses or only big ones?
- Mostly small ones. A single advert is $40, which was chosen precisely so that a shop or a fabricator could try it without a committee meeting.
- Do you know the local market?
- We live here. We know what a Gweru winter light looks like, what the dust does to a yard in October, and that a granite slab reads completely differently in a showroom than it does on a truck.
